Vietnam's Beach Destinations

With white sandy beaches and calm turquoise waters, it is no surprise that Vietnam’s beaches are the perfect destination for holiday makers.

Nha Trang

An attractive destination among tourists, Vietnamese and scuba divers, Nha Trang is one of Asia’s most beautiful bays off the coast of South central Vietnam. It is surrounded by mountains, beaches, lavish islands and popular beach side resorts. For tourists there are palms trees, a promenade, amusements and water parks.

Con Dao Islands

Located off the southern coast of Vietnam, this group of 16 islands, when under the French rule, were once used as a place where thousands of prisoners of war were kept. In the current day tourists flock to the islands to admire the beautiful beaches and different scuba diving and snorkelling spots. Visitors can still learn the history of Con Dao by exploring some of the prison buildings that still stand.

My Khe Beach, Danang

With pristine white sand beaches, blue waters and sunny skies, My Khe Beach is one of the most scenic spots in Da Nang. It was known as China beach during the Vietnam war, where US servicemen were helicoptered in for rest and relaxation. Many hotels and cafes are within walking distance of the beach, where visitors can rest sunbeds or kayaks from local vendors.

Mui Ne

Just a few hours’ drive from Saigon, Mui Ne was once a little-inhabited beach. It now is a popular travel destination for those interested in kite and windsurfing due to the strong sea breezes. No trip is complete without a visit during sunset to the famous sand dunes just a short distance from the town which offers panoramic views.

Phu Quoc

The island of Phu Quoc is in front of the Cambodia Coast, and is the largest island in Vietnam. It features pristine tropical forests, undamaged coral reefs and perfect sandy beaches. There is a variety of different hotels available, from beach front locations to central hotels offering panoramic views of the lush forests or blue seas.
